Welcome to Pillai HOC College of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (PHCHMCT), a proud part of the renowned Pillai HOC College of Arts, Science, and Commerce, affiliated with the University of Mumbai.
Established in 2008 under the visionary guidance of Dr. K.M. Vasudevan Pillai, PHCHMCT operates within the lush, green 14.23-acre Pillai HOCL Educational Campus in Rasayani, Maharashtra.
At PHCHMCT, we are committed to empower students through quality education that aligns with our guiding principle, “Education to All.” Our B.Sc. Hospitality Studies program, a comprehensive three-year undergraduate degree, equips students with the knowledge, skills, and practical experience required to excel in the dynamic hotel and catering industry. Is one of the oldest and premier Universities in India. It was established in 1857 consequent upon “Wood’s Education Dispatch”, and it is one amongst the first three Universities in India. As a sequel to the change in the name of the city from Bombay to Mumbai, the name of the University has been changed from “University of Bombay” to “University of Mumbai”, vide notification issued by the Government of Maharashtra and published in the Government Gazette dated 4th September, 1996.
