Celebrating the Richness of Marathi Cuisine at Pillai HOC College of Hotel Management and Catering Technology
Pillai HOC College of Hotel Management and Catering Technology recently celebrated the vibrant and flavorful essence of Marathi culture through its event Maay Marathi. This event, highlighting the culinary heritage of Maharashtra, was an opportunity for our talented students to showcase the beauty of Marathi cuisine.
The students curated a specially designed lunch featuring traditional Marathi dishes, bringing the rich flavors of the state to the dining experience. The meal included beloved classics like Puran Poli, Sabudana Khichdi, Misal Pav, and Modak, with each dish reflecting the diversity and depth of Marathi culinary traditions.
The Maay Marathi event not only offered a delightful gastronomic journey but also served as a platform for students to demonstrate their skills in creating authentic dishes. Their dedication to preserving Marathi culture through food and presentation shone brightly, offering guests a taste of Maharashtra’s culinary legacy in every bite.
This event truly embodied the spirit of Marathi culture, blending hospitality and tradition in a feast that was both delicious and meaningful. We are proud of our students for their creativity and passion in bringing this unique Marathi dining experience to life.
